Thinking about getting a graduate degree? Attend UC Berkeley’s virtual Graduate Diversity Admissions Fair on Monday, October 7 – Friday, October 11. This event is uniquely designed for underrepresented minority students considering graduate school at Berkeley. (We welcome all prospective students.)

What to expect

The Graduate Diversity Admissions Fair is a virtual event spanning the course of five days. The fair will consist of sessions offered from over 50 UC Berkeley graduate programs. You can expect one hour sessions and discussion groups.

Leave sessions with:

Yes! After you register for the fair and customize your schedule, your confirmation email will include a unique link to your fair schedule. Your schedule will contain links to each session, and you can watch the live session by clicking “Access Webinar.” Then, click “Connect.”   

Please make sure you have an active Zoom account to watch the webinars.

To sign up for your own free account, visit zoom.us/signup and enter your email address. You will receive an email from Zoom ([email protected]). In this email, click Activate Account.

You can sign in to your Zoom account on the web at any time, at zoom.us/signin. Once you’re logged in, use the panel on the left side to navigate the Zoom web portal. You can update your profile, schedule a meeting, edit your settings, and more.

From your schedule link in your confirmation email, click on the “Add more sessions” button to add to your schedule. Once you’ve added sessions, click on the “My Schedule” button to see your updated schedule. 

All sessions will be live, in PST time, so please mark your calendars. 

No, you will not be able to add a session once the start time has passed. Instead, we recommend that you sign up for all sessions you are interested in beforehand.

From your schedule link, please click “Cancel Registration” for the session you are no longer able to attend. 

We are planning to provide live transcription and American Sign Language interpretation for all our plenary sessions. For other disability-related accommodations for department or plenary sessions, please email [email protected] with as much advance notice as possible and at least 7-10 days in advance of the event.

While we have more than 50 departments participating in this fair, this is not inclusive of all of UC Berkeley’s graduate programs. If your program of interest is not listed, please join us for our daily plenary sessions or a closely related department session.
