GradPro offers a rotating selection of workshops each year on topics related to career exploration and preparation. These workshops are open to all graduate students. We also work with our campus partners to coordinate workshop programming, ensuring that workshops across campus cover important topics related to professional development.

A list of graduate student professional development related workshops offered by units across campus this semester can be found below, as well as GradPro’s annual schedule of workshops. See our Events Calendar for the most up-to-date information on upcoming workshops, or sign up for the Professional Development Digest. If you would like GradPro to conduct a specialized workshop for your department, group, or as part of an academic course, please review our workshop request page here.

GradPro also hosts the annual campuswide Grad Slam event, a UC-sponsored competition, where graduate students share their research in three-minute talks, honing their public speaking and communication skills and competing for cash prizes. Learn more about the Berkeley Grad Slam here.
