Apply for the Birgeneau Perelman Fund for Undocumented StudentsThe Office for Graduate Diversity and Berkeley Graduate Division are pleased to announce stipends for undocumented graduate students. This financial award is intended to fill a critical gap in graduate and professional student support. Priority for funding will be given based on need and to those who are not eligible for other sources of support. Applications will be reviewed and awarded on a rolling basis. AwardCriteriaHow to ApplyAwardEligible graduate students, including professional school students, are invited to apply for the UC Berkeley Stipend. Awards will vary based on need. Please note, selected awardees may be required to mentor an undergraduate student, and returning applicants may reapply for funds once per academic year. CriteriaApplicants must meet the following minimum criteria: Be an enrolled, undocumented UC Berkeley graduate student in good academic standing AB 540 or non-AB540 are eligible to apply Demonstrate financial need. How to ApplyApplications will be evaluated using the following criteria: Demonstration of financial need Academic achievements and promise Application packages should include the following: A completed application form Note: A letter of recommendation from a faculty member may be provided, but is completely optional.
