Room Use Guidelines

To reserve a Hub space, you must agree to the following terms:

  1. Safety: The point of contact assumes responsibility for the safety and security of participants. The university policies and procedures regarding alcohol must be followed: https://ucpd.berkeley.edu/services/special-event-and-security-assessments.
  2. Room arrangement: The rooms come with a standard set up. Tables and chairs may be moved around and additional chairs are available if needed. To finalize your reservation, you must return the room to its original configuration.
  3. Windows: You may choose to open the windows and blinds. Prior to departing from your reservation, ensure the windows are locked and the blinds are lowered.
  4. Food and beverage: All food and beverages should be contained to the reservation area during your reservation. Any beverages in the space should be in a container with a lid, if possible.
  5. Cleanup: Guests are responsible for cleaning the space, especially their food and beverages. Remove all decorations, and items not originally in the space. Landfill, Compost, Recycle, and Paper Bins are located throughout the Hub. Clorox wipes can be found in each of the reservable spaces. A vacuum is also available if needed near the entrance to the 104 space.
  6. Media (if applicable): The adapters and remote should be placed back on the monitor stand using the provided velcro attachments. The rolling monitor should be placed in the closet and the meeting Owl returned to the Hub point of contact.

* Failure to comply with these terms may result in reservation privileges being rescinded in the future.*
