Because graduate groups operate outside of the established departmental structure, they are required to have bylaws that codify their purpose, conditions of membership, and a governance structure. These templates demonstrate how a group might codify membership requirements, how committees are organized and the authority granted to each one, and how often general meetings of group members are held.
