The Joanne Wood Scholarship Fund was established in Joanne’s name to memorialize Joanne in an honorable and befitting manner and to promote a cause she passionately believed in: education. This scholarship assists exceptional students with financial need in obtaining a masters or graduate degree in business, mathematics, computer science, biology, physics or chemistry. Two $3,000 scholarships will be awarded in the 2013-2014 school year. The scholarship will be used for tuition only and half will be awarded before the fall semester and the other half before the spring semester if minimum GPA of 3.25/4.0 is maintained. The scholarship is valid only for the class year it is awarded; applicants may reapply for the following year.
