The Center for Teaching and Learning announced the Graduate Student Assessment Fellows Program (August, 2015 – May, 2016). The program supplements graduate preparation by offering opportunities to gain training in assessment of undergraduate student learning and program evaluation on the Berkeley campus. A total of six Fellows will be selected for the 2015-16 cohort. The workload for this program will be approximately 5 hours per week for two academic semesters (3 hours/week for engaging in an assessment project and 2 hours/week for work associated with the learning community on assessment). A total of $5000 ($2500 per semester) will be awarded as stipends for each Fellow. Students with GSI or GSR appointments can also apply, as long as you can balance your academic obligations with the program requirements. For more details about the program expectations, eligibility, and application procedure, visit the Graduate Student Assessment Fellows Program website. The application period will open on June 5 and closes on July 24, 2015.
