With offices in San Francisco and Berkeley, Greg L. Beattie represents clients throughout the San Francisco Bay Area at Veritas Corporate Law, P.C. He focuses his practice on corporate and technology law, representing a variety of businesses in the retail, distribution, service and manufacturing sectors primarily in the technology  and consumer packaged goods industries, often being retained as their outside general counsel. While most of his time is spent on corporate law, from startups through mergers and acquisitions, he also assists companies with their legal needs in securities, raising capital, licensing, investor relations and technology protection and transfers.

After completing his bachelor’s degree at Stanford University, Mr. Beattie continued on to Harvard Law School, where he earned his juris doctorate degree and graduated cum laude. After his admission to the California State Bar in 1980, he clerked under California Supreme Court Justice Stanley Mosk. Mr. Beattie also served as chair of the Venture and Technology Practice Group at Reed Smith, LLP, a large law firm with offices in the U.S. and overseas, and as the General Counsel of UB Networks, a local-area-network manufacturing company.
