Want to spruce up your office or liven up your living room with an original piece of art, but don’t have the cash to spend? No problem.

Through the Graphic Arts Loan Collection at the Morrison Library, UC Berkeley students can borrow from an eclectic collection of about 850 prints, across a wide range of artists and styles.

The collection was founded over 60 years ago with the goal of fostering a deeper appreciation for art among students – who still get reservation priority over staff and faculty.

To learn more about the program, browse the GALC collection, check out this feature or hear straight from borrowers themselves on the library’s blog.

The Morrison Library will start accepting reservations for the Fall 2020 semester on August 28, 2019.
