Grad students and grad support staff: this is a special notice to encourage you to put in a presentation proposal for the upcoming Stay Day conference. The event is in May, but the proposal deadline is coming right up!

What is it?  Stay Day is a one-day event, sponsored by the Division of Student Affairs, that provides Graphic that says "Stay Day"participants with the opportunity to engage in a collective conversation about the evolving needs of our students through a series of interactive sessions. The “2012 STAY DAY:  Students in Action” Conference Committee is now accepting proposals for innovative conference sessions for this year’s event, which will take place Wednesday, May 23, 2012.

The content of each session should focus on the myriad ways in which students take action at UC Berkeley. For more information, visit the Stay Day website. Please submit your program proposal online by Monday, March 26 at http://bit.ly/SD2012

Note: to help you clarify your idea and put together a program proposal in time for the submission deadline, an optional roundtable-style Stay Day Proposal Workshop is being help Thursday, March 22, from noon to 1 p.m. in 200G Blum Hall. If you have any questions about the proposals process, contact Avi Rosenzweig  ([email protected]) or Alexis Bucknam ([email protected]).
