The Luce Scholars Program provides an intensive experience in Asia for young Americans who show evidence of potential leadership and accomplishment. Luce Scholars have backgrounds in many fields other than Asian studies, including the arts, journalism, law, medicine, science, public health, environmental studies, and international relations. Applicants should have a strong, mature, and clearly defined interest in a field other than Asian affairs.
