The Collegiate Inventors Competition is designed to encourage college students to be active in science, engineering, mathematics, technology, and creative invention while stimulating their problem solving abilities. The competition recognizes the working relationship between a student and their advisor who is involved in projects leading to inventions that can be patented. One undergraduate winner or team will receive $15,000; their academic advisors will each receive $5,000. One Grand Prize student will receive $25,000; the advisor will receive $15,000.

It is a unique competition that can take your invention to the next level through networking, marketing exposure, mentorship and more! Since 1990, with the help of our sponsors, we have awarded more than $1 million to students nationwide.
