The ARC Fellows program advances interdisciplinary research in the arts at UC Berkeley, providing support for six self-nominated pairs of UC Berkeley faculty members and graduate students to work together on research projects of mutual interest. The cohort will meet regularly during the Spring 2014 semester; each faculty-student pair will get an opportunity to present and discuss their research, and each Fellow will receive a $1,000 research grant. For Spring 2014, Professor Mary Ann Smart (Department of Music) will oversee the ARC Fellows monthly lunch seminar meetings as student-faculty pairs will present and discuss their research. Visit the ARC Fellows page for complete details on how to apply. The 2014 ARC Fellows Application has been extended to Friday, December 13, 2013.
