Phi Beta Kappa (Alpha of California Chapter) Doctoral Fellowships

Each year the Phi Beta Kappa Alpha of California Chapter awards a number of fellowships to members of Phi Beta Kappa who are currently enrolled as doctoral students at UC Berkeley. The application for the 2013-2014 academic year will be posted on the organization’s website in mid-October.

Fulbright U.S. Student Program: Grant Opportunity Abroad — 9/06/2013

The Fulbright U.S. Student Program provides grants for individually designed study/research projects or for English Teaching Assistantships. To compete, candidates must submit a Statement of Grant Purpose, defining activities to take place during one academic year in a participating country outside the United States.

J-School student wins WHCA Scholarship and meets President Obama

Angela Hart, a student in the Graduate School of Journalism, was a recipient of the 2013 White House Correspondents Association (WHCA) Student Scholarship. In April, Hart attended the WHCA awards dinner in Washington D.C. and a luncheon with President Obama.
