Candidates must be under 36 years old at the due date of the initial letter of interest and are also expected to have sufficient language skills to carry out research in their country of interest. Successful project ideas should aim to strengthen U.S. understanding of different regions. Fellows are also expected to write a monthly newsletter about their experiences, which will be sent to ICWA members. Initial letters of interest and resumes are due by June 15, 2019.
