Staff Profile for Shon David Correa Martell Back to All Staff Shon David Correa Martell Graduate Pipeline Coordinator Email [email protected] Coordinates and supports in the administration of the Growing Our Own initiative, paying special attention to the recruitment of graduate students and establishing partnerships with UCs, California State Universities (CSUs), Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSIs), Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), and Tribal Colleges and Universities (TCUs). Serves as an information resource and first point of contact for students and faculty, facilitates outreach programs, recruitment visits on campus, and fosters relationships with institutions to connect students with programs. Collaborates across campus-wide groups in the design and implementation of sustainable pathways for students from first-generation, low-income, and underrepresented groups to professoriate, in California and beyond. Provides holistic advising to prospective graduate students on the admission processes of their field of study and provides informational support regarding additional learning opportunities.
