The Albert Newman Fellowship for Visually-Impaired Students is awarded to graduate students with substantial visual impairments. The requirements for this fellowship are the following: Applicants must be substantially visually impaired as documented by the Disabled Students Program (located at 260 Cesar Chavez Student Center, Voice [510] 642-0518, TTY [510] 642-6376). Award will be based on scholastic achievement. Students must be registered in the term in which they receive the award. U.S. Citizens and permanent residents must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This award is for the 2018-19 academic year and will be $4,000. Priority is given to students with financial need. The deadline to submit applications is March 15, 2018.
