Graduate student mentors and instructors are encouraged to nominate undergraduate students to become a Golden Bear Orientation Leaders. The position is open to undergraduate students of all colleges, majors, and personal attributes. Golden Bear Orientation is a multi-day event aimed at welcoming and informing new freshmen and transfer undergraduate students. Leaders serve as a role model for new students by displaying the responsibility and maturity of a continuing student and by actively participating in all required events, trainings and meetings.
