UC Love Data Week

INTENDED AUDIENCE: Faculty, Graduate Student Instructors, Graduate Students, Instructors, Post-Doctoral Students, Researchers, Staff, Students Once again, UC Libraries are collaborating on a UC-wide “Love Data Week” series of talks, presentations, and workshops during February 13-17, 2023. All events are free to attend and open to any member of the UC community. With over 20 presentations and workshops, whether you’re working on qualitative or quantitative data, there’s plenty to choose from. Topics include: Data management and sharing for NIH projects Developing your data science portfolio Getting started with qualitative research Using containers for reproducible and scalable computing Introduction to GIS & mapping Joining a Wikipedia edit-a-thon Data visualization and much more!

AIGP Graduate Parent Night

The Inclusive Excellence Hub 2515 Channing Way, Berkeley

All graduate students, parents, and children are welcome to attend UC Berkeley's American Indian Graduate Program (AIGP) Parent Night to showcase research opportunities rooted in the unique conditions of Indigenous-based histories, environments, cultures, economies, literature and aspects of professional career development. Food will be provided and this initial meeting will serve as a starting discussion for additional resources to host this event at the hub and additional support.
