The Berkeley Energy and Resources Collaborative (BERC) invites you to join us for the 2019 BERC Energy Summit from February 21 – 22nd. The BERC Energy Summit, now in its 13th year, is the largest student-run energy conference on the west coast, attracting over 500 students, faculty members, policy makers, industry leaders and entrepreneurs annually to discuss the world’s most pressing energy challenges. This year, leaders across the energy field will converge on Berkeley’s campus for this conference-style event to explore how we are “Bringing Together Energy Communities for Innovation.”

BERC Energy Summit will include

  • Keynote address delivered by Kevin de Leon, President Emeritus of the California State Senate and the leading sponsor of California’s ambitious 100% renewable energy bill
  • The Energy Career Forum, a career fair featuring 20+ companies and startups including E3, Bloom Energy, Chevron, Stem, and more
  • Panels about battery market policy, energy access, grid cybersecurity, and more
  • The Technology Series, featuring cutting-edge developments in the energy technology space
  • The first ever Summit Primer, a series of rapid-fire tutorials from UC Berkeley professors providing critical background info on the latest energy trends
