The David N. Keightley Fellowship will provide support for high-achieving graduate students in the College of Letters and Science at the University of California, Berkeley. Applicants shall be graduate students who demonstrate high academic distinction and whose work focuses on China and/or Chinese subjects. Preference will be given to applicants whose research emphasis is on Neolithic to the Han dynasty period. The fellowship is in the amount of $2,000, and it may be used for, but not limited to, summer research, travel, conference attendance, and fellowship support. The deadline to submit applications is April 14, 2017.
