Do you have an interest in photography and science communication?
The Berkeley Science Review is looking for photographers for its upcoming fall issue! Photographers work closely with the design team, with a time commitment of 3 – 5 hours for the semester. Previous photography experience is not required. As a staff photographer, you will help provide the designers with professional quality photographs of interview subjects, research specimens, and laboratory spaces. Creative photography for title images may also be requested.
The Berkeley Science Review is a graduate student-run magazine that introduces UC Berkeley research to a general audience through our biannual magazine and blog. The BSR visual design aims to enhance readers’ engagement and understanding through beautiful science photos, clever print and interactive data visualizations, and intuitive illustrations of scientific concepts. We also have a budding multimedia team for our online publication.
