Interested in becoming a science role model for local elementary school students while teaching fun and engaging science lessons?

BASIS — Bay Area Scientists in Schools — is a fun and easy way to make a broader impact with your research, to develop important science communication skills, and to inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers!

You are invited to our BASIS Fall Kick-Off event on Thursday, September 28, from 12 – 2 pm, in 775 Tan Hall. Come learn how BASIS volunteers bring science and engineering to life for elementary students while you enjoy free pizza and explore our hands-on science activities!

To learn more, sign up for an on-campus orientation or email Traci, the BASIS Program Manager with any questions.
