Mental Health Resources


Peer Support Providers (PSPs)
As students themselves, Graduate Peer Support Providers (PSPs) meet one-on-one with graduate students at UC Berkeley to provide assistance in navigating the complex processes related to mental health, basic needs, and academia.

Graduate Wellness Center
The Graduate Wellness Center provides graduate-focused wellness and mental health services, including individual, couples, and group counseling and workshops specific to graduate students. The center is a satellite office for Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) and the Disabled Students Program (DSP).

AAPI Mental Wellness Guide
The Asian American and Pacific Islander Mental Wellness Guide is a student and community-submitted mental health and wellness resource guide with the overarching goal of providing accessible resources to UC Berkeley’s Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) student community and further improve the community’s health and wellbeing.

Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS)
Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) through UHS is free of charge and all students have access to mental health services regardless of insurance. Students have access to a variety of resources; online self-help tools (Therapy Assistance Online), Let’s Talk consultations, skill-based workshops, counseling groups, individual and couples counseling and referrals to additional support resources, on- and off-campus providers
