Now that the rush of finishing coursework and papers for Spring 2016 is over, it’s time to think about summer. Those of you around Berkeley in the coming months may want to check out D-Lab to learn the hottest data science programming languages, get some feedback on your research design, and connect with colleagues engaged in data-intensive projects. D-Lab’s workspaces and consulting rooms are housed in an attractive suite of offices on the third floor of Barrows Hall. Summer intensives will be offered by D-Lab starting at the end of May. These workshops will focus on topics such as R and Python coding, grant writing, and qualitative methods. For more in-depth training, join their working groups or book an appointment with one of their consultants. During the summer, D-Lab is open Monday through Thursday, 10 am – 2:00 pm.
