Proposal Overview

If your unit is interested in proposing a new self-supporting graduate professional degree program (SSGPDP), please review the process and resources below before proceeding.

Please contact Senior Analyst for SSGPDPs Hannah Bloom ([email protected]) if you have any questions. Hannah will reach out to you after you submit the Intent to Propose a New Degree survey.

Submit “Intent to Propose a New Degree” survey when ready to proceed with proposal development and review Graduate Division will follow up to assist with next steps, including reviewing proposal drafts and a timeline Once ready, the proposal will be forwarded to the Berkeley Division of the Academic Senate and then the Office of the Vice Provost for Academic Planning for review and approval Once approved by the campus, the proposal is forwarded to the Coordinating Committee on Graduate Affairs and UCOP for final review and approval
