If your unit is interested in proposing a new self-supporting graduate professional degree program (SSGPDP), please review the process and resources below before proceeding.
Please contact Senior Analyst for SSGPDPs Hannah Bloom ([email protected]) if you have any questions. Hannah will reach out to you after you submit the Intent to Propose a New Degree survey.

Submit “Intent to Propose a New Degree” survey when ready to proceed with proposal development and review | Graduate Division will follow up to assist with next steps, including reviewing proposal drafts and a timeline | Once ready, the proposal will be forwarded to the Berkeley Division of the Academic Senate and then the Office of the Vice Provost for Academic Planning for review and approval | Once approved by the campus, the proposal is forwarded to the Coordinating Committee on Graduate Affairs and UCOP for final review and approval |
