Graduate Certificates – Proposal Guidelines
There are two levels of non-UNEX graduate certificates: 1) the existing University of California Certificate of Graduate Curriculum provided for by SR 735, recognizing distinct scholarship unrelated to a degree program, and 2) a graduate certificate awarded by a college, school, or department, (or a combination of academic units) which may highlight a cluster of courses representing a particular field of emphasis undertaken in fulfillment of a graduate degree.
