The American Heraldry Society has recently established scholarships up to $1,500 to support masters or doctoral students in the preparation and completion of a thesis or dissertation relevant to the use of heraldry within the present territory of the United States and its territories and possessions.

Doctoral and master’s students eligible for this award may be in such fields as history, literature, law, anthropology, sociology, political science/government, archaeology, art history, architecture and design, and communication studies.
