The Institute of International Education (IIE) has announced the 2014-2015 Whitaker International Fellows and Scholars Program competition. The program funds emerging U.S.-based leaders in biomedical engineering/bioengineering to conduct a study and/or research project abroad, with the underlying objective of increasing international collaboration in the field of Biomedical Engineering (BME).
The program has two categories: Fellows are graduate-level applicants, from graduating seniors through current Ph.D. students, and may receive a stipend for one year and tuition reimbursement. Scholars are postdoctoral applicants who recently received their Ph.D., and can receive funding for up two years.
The application deadline is February 4, 2014. For more information, visit the Whitaker website.
