Regeneron is inviting applications for its 4th Annual Regeneron Prize for Creative Innovation for graduate students and postdocs. UC Berkeley is allowed to nominate 2 graduate students and 2 postdoctoral fellows. The Regeneron Prize for Creative Innovation aims to recognize and honor Excellence in Biomedical Science conducted by graduate students and postdoctoral fellows. One graduate student and one postdoctoral fellow will be selected to receive the Regeneron Prize for Creative Innovation each year. Each prize will include a check for $50,000. In addition, prize winners will receive a $5,000 donation to their home institution to help support their seminar series. Semi-finalists and finalists for each prize will be awarded $5,000 (approximately eight to ten- applicants for each prize will be selected for this distinction). Because the campus is only allowed to submit two applications from graduate students and two applications from post-doctoral fellows, the campus is organizing an internal limited submission process. Campus process: Trainees should send a preview of their application (instructions below) to the Limited Submissions email address ([email protected]) by Monday January 11, 2016.
