Interested in a career in global academia?  Want to do research in Japan but have no funding?  Looking for scholarly activities in the summer?

The Japan Society for the Promotion of Science, Japan’s largest funding agency, is now introducing fellowship programs for research in Japan to UC Berkeley graduate students, postdocs, and faculty. JSPS’s door is open to any academic field in the humanities, social sciences, natural sciences and engineering. The informational session will include:

  • JSPS Fellowship application information
  • Japanese researchers discuss research environments in Japan
  • Presentations by former JSPS fellows now at UC Berkeley
  •  Q & A
