The importance of mentoring for graduate students has become increasingly apparent to me during the last couple of years — not just for academic success, but for well-being, happiness, and being poised for careers that bring lifelong fulfillment.
Although Berkeley has some excellent resources for graduate students and those who support them, these have been “hidden in plain sight” on various websites that students rarely access. I’m delighted that we have launched a new page on the Graduate Division’s website that brings these resources together.
Read more about this in Associate Dean Gail Brager’s article below about resources geared toward students. I warmly encourage you to bookmark this page, and review it periodically — you’ll learn tips and skills that will help you throughout your career! Finally, check below for important news on professional development, student life and other opportunities.
