“The Berkeley Graduate” Offers a Another Student Perspective Published: February 12, 2015 By: Andy Sohn Check out the The Berkeley Graduate, the Graduate Assembly’s online publication by, for and about graduate students. At their site you will find articles on students, events, research, academic life, science and technology, politics, op-eds, entertainment, and more. In their words: “Its goal is to inform and inspire graduate students by connecting them to a campus-wide community online. . . . By tapping into the collective knowledge of this body of students, we hope to learn from each other how to make the most of our time as Berkeley students.” The Berkeley Graduate is seeking guest bloggers. They welcome blog posts from Berkeley graduate and professional students on a wide variety of topics. If you are interested in writing for The Berkeley Graduate, please send an email pitching your idea. If your piece is selected, you will be paid an honorarium of $30 per post. Contributing to The Berkeley Graduate is a great chance to practice composing for a general audience, develop your blogging chops, or dabble in journalism, all while earning some extra money.
