The Visiting Scholar and Postdoc Affairs (VSPA) Program, in collaboration with The Career Center, is sponsoring the third annual PhD Career Colloquium on Wednesday, May 8, 2013, from 12 to 5pm. The event will be held at the Chevron Auditorium, in the International House.

The colloquium will present a panel of PhDs and former postdocs who will describe how networking facilitated their career shift. It will also feature activities designed to jump start participants’ own successful outreach efforts.

Keynote speaker: Alaina Levine

Alaina G. Levine is an award winning speaker, entrepreneur, and science journalist. She is the former Director of Special Projects for the University of Arizona’s College of Science. As an Eller Entrepreneurial Scholar, Alaina designed and taught an award winning graduate course on entrepreneurship for scientists.
