As part of an effort to improve customer service to parking patrons, a new mobile parking payment option, PayByPhone, will offer more convenient payment options for hourly public parking on campus. PayByPhone Features The campus community and its visitors will be able to pay for parking using a credit or debit card via PayByPhone’s mobile app, by going online or by dialing (866) 234-7275. Drivers will have an opportunity to use a number of features that aren’t available at traditional parking pay stations, including: Text message reminders prior to the expiration of parking sessions Remote time extensions Online receipts Option to pin parking location to mobile app’s map Phone Parking Locations PayByPhone will be available for all UC Berkeley campus public parking lots, garages, and street parking on campus Monday – Friday from 5:00 pm – 2 am and on weekends. Weekday hourly public parking is available in select campus parking areas. Please note that at this time, PayByPhone isn’t available for City of Berkeley parking spaces, including city parking along the perimeter of campus.
