The PATH to Care Center and Graduate Division are interested in partnering with your department to plan the 2019 – 2020 in-person Sexual Violence and Sexual Harassment (SVSH) Prevention Education Training sessions for new grad students.
Students are still required to participate in an hour-long in-person training session with facilitators trained by the PATH to Care Center. Departments may opt to host sessions as part of their orientation programs, or send students to open sessions hosted by Graduate Division and PATH to Care on August 24 (Saturday) and August 27 (Tuesday, NGSO). Additional make-up dates will be added later in the semester. Students will have until September 28 to participate in the training, or a hold will be placed on their Spring 2020 enrollment.
If you know a grad student, alumni, staff, or faculty member who would be a great facilitator for your department-hosted training, please share this link to the form to apply for the SVSH Train-the-Trainer program. Facilitators must commit to completing 6 hours of training in preparation to facilitate the in-person prevention education session. Applications must be submitted by June 28th.
