The Global Urban Humanities Initiative is pleased to announce its upcoming Spring 2019 Symposium: Techniques of Memory: Landscape, Iconoclasm, Medium and Power on April 17–18, 2019, at the David Brower Center in Berkeley, CA. The symposium will explore research, projects, and new and existing dialogues on monuments and memory. The deadline for submitting abstracts from scholars, artists, activists, and architects is December 20, 2018.
