Are you a graduate student employee? Do you know about TRS?

UC Berkeley is transitioning time reporting systems

UC Berkeley is transitioning from the CalTime time reporting system to the new Time Reporting System (TRS) on October 13.

Graduate students holding both a salaried position (GSI or GSR) and an hourly position (Reader, Tutor, or Student Assistant) will have two separate monthly timesheets in TRS. The hourly position uses a “Monthly-Hourly” timesheet where hours worked are logged mid-month, requiring students to project their hours for the second half of the month to ensure timely payment. Note: If you use the Timesheet Application to record hours, that system will be discontinued after September 30, and you will use TRS to enter your time for all your jobs!
