Beginning this summer, UC Berkeley students who have print disabilities, including blindness, dyslexia and paralysis, will be able to request a free conversion of a specific library book or journal. After a negotiated settlement between UC Berkeley and the Disability Rights Advocates, the library has agreed to convert the text to alternative-media format within an average of five business days.
