Applications to the 2015-2016 Imagining America Fellows Program Published: May 15, 2015 By: Andy Sohn UC Berkeley is a member institution of the Imagining America Consortium, and all Berkeley graduate students are eligible to apply to the following opportunities: PAGE Fellows Program — 5/18/2015 Graduate students with a demonstrated interest in public scholarship and/or artistic practice may apply for a 2015-2016 Publicly Active Graduate Education (PAGE) Fellowship. Awardees receive $500 to attend a half-day Fellows Summit on September 30th and the 2015 IA national conference, October 1-3 in Baltimore, Maryland. Fellows also commit to participating in a yearlong working group to promote collaborative art-making, teaching, writing, and research projects. Graduate students at all stages of their MA/MFA/PhD programs may apply to be PAGE Fellows. Only students who are affiliated with IA member institutions are eligible for this award. GS Photo Fellows Program — 6/1/2015 Thanks to a generous grant from the Joy of Giving Something Foundation (JGS), Imagining America invites publicly engaged students of photography or digital media from our member institutions to apply for a tuition award of $2,000 and join a national working group of students that will result in a collaborative media project. Fellows will be invited to participate in the 2015 IA national conference, October 1-3, in Baltimore, Maryland, and will be eligible for a limited number of travel stipends to attend the conference. The goal of the IA/JGS Fellows Program is to elevate photography and digital media as a pathway for students to pursue their careers and make a difference in their communities.
