Graduate students in all departments are invited to apply for the Multicultural Education Program (MEP) and Restorative Justice (RJ) Graduate Student Inclusivity Certificate Program. Graduate students with successful applications will be invited to participate in a 20-hour training over the course of three Saturdays (February 23, March 2, and March 9), combining MEP training with RJ Community Building Circles to allow for an in-depth conversation on workplace diversity, unconscious bias, and cross-cultural communication. The RJ training will help student learn restorative responses to conflict and harm. Upon completion of the training, students will receive curricular materials, a MEP/RJ Training Certificate of Completion, and institutional support to have these conversations and respond to incidents within their own departments. Complete the application by February 1, 2019, to be considered. Graduate students will be notified by Wednesday, February 6. Contact Teresa Anderson if you have any questions.
