The Office of Sustainability and Energy and the Climate Readiness Institute announce a one-year Graduate Student Researcher opening. Working on a TGIF-funded Climate Vulnerability Assessment grant, the GSR will conduct a detailed assessment of the campus’ vulnerability to future climate change impacts. In the first phase — Initiating Assessment and Developing Vulnerability Report — the TGIF funds will cover the cost of a graduate student (GSR) for one year (at 10 hours per week) to support the analysis, write the report, and participate on the team.

The student will conduct the initial research, under the supervision of expert faculty and the project leaders, on regional science studies and draft the assessment of climate-related threats.

To apply send your cover letter, resume, and a writing sample to Lisa McNeilly. See the job description for more information. The position starts upon hire and ends June 2017.
