AIGP provides direct assistance to incoming and prospective Indigenous/Native American students, with financial aid information, advice and resources to guide you toward the best decision to advance your academic career. Financial Support for Native American StudentsBeginning fall 2022, two new financial support opportunities will become available ensuring that all newly accepted and current California Native American UC students can attend tuition free. UC’s Native American Opportunity Plan provides that in-state system-wide tuition and student services fees are fully covered for California students who are also enrolled in federally recognized Native American, American Indian, and Alaska Native tribes. The Federated Indians of Graton Rancheria (FIGR) Scholarship Fund covers tuition and mandatory fees both for non-federally recognized California Native American UC students along with any added needed support for those from federally recognized tribes.
