For UC Berkeley undergraduate seniors, graduate students, and postdoctoral researchers to undertake study and/or research in Germany.

Fellowships for Graduate Study and Research in Germany

Study Scholarships and Long Term Research Grants (7-12 Months) will be offered by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) for University of California, Berkeley undergraduate seniors and graduate students to undertake study and/or research in Germany.

More Information is available online:

  • Study Scholarships final year undergraduate students or those who have received an undergraduate degree of all disciplines for a full master’s degree program at a German university, or for study at a German university as part of a postgraduate or master’s degree program completed in the home country.
  • Long Term Research Grants doctoral students in a US/Canadian program (or those who will be enrolled by the beginning of funding) interested in a research project in Germany for funding between 7-12 months.
