HeartSpeak Support Group For Undocumented Students

A weekly support space for undocumented students that centers social connection as a foundation for wellness, racial trauma-healing, and resilience. Each virtual session will offer a conversational space, coping strategies shared through collective wisdom, and beginner-level mindfulness meditation practice

UndocuGrads Monthly Support Circles

Each virtual circle will start with a brief grounding meditation, offer space for individual check-ins, and conclude with strategies for emotional resilience. Come take a breather, invest time to check-in with yourself, be heard, and recalibrate your mental health! All sessions facilitated by, Diana Peña, Undocumented Student Program Psychologist. No experience necessary to join. Special screening of “A Million Miles Away” with UC Regent and Astronaut José Hernández

You are invited to the Film Screening of “A Million Miles Away” with Astronaut and Regent José Hernández on Monday, October 23 from 6:45 - 9:30 PM at 155 Dwinelle Hall. Celebrate and share space with your community as we watch “A Million Miles Away,” a biopic of Regent Hernández’s story and the struggles he experienced to reach his dreams. Following the film, there will be a Q&A with Regent Hernández, the first migrant farmworker to make it to space and one of NASA’s few Latinx astronauts.
