Assess your motivated skills and learn how to determine which skills are valued in roles with employers such as academic institutions, private companies and public service organizations. What recent participants have said about the value of attending the workshop: • The “after PhD” process is daunting, and this workshop helped show me that I have a lot of options. • Looking at job postings and identifying the skills they are looking for and the values of the different companies was very useful. • (This helped me with) recognizing what skills I would like to focus on in the future to refine and get better at. September 23 @ 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM R Copilot Assisted Coding Workshop Online via Zoom This workshop provides a beginner-friendly introduction to coding with GitHub Copilot, a popular AI coding assistant. We will start from the basics so you can take advantage of AI assistants to improve your coding and avoid common pitfalls. First, we’ll cover how to install and set-up Visual Studio Code, a free code editor through which we will use GitHub Copilot.
