We define basic needs as an ecosystem that includes: financial stability; nutritious and sufficient food; safe, secure and adequate housing; accessible and equitable health/medical care, technology and transportation. The Disabled Students' Program promotes an inclusive environment for students with disabilities. Students who will need or are interested in learning more about academic accommodations for coursework or research should attend this session. NGSO: Navigating Cal from a Chicanx Latinx Perspective

¡Bienvenidxs a Cal! This session will be presented by UC Berkeley graduate student board members of the Graduate Association of Latinx Students (GALS). GALS is a student organization that seeks to address the social, political, academic, cultural, and educational issues and concerns that affect the Latinx graduate and professional community at UC Berkeley. And the Chicanx Latinx Student Development Office that over sees the Latinx Student Resource Center and various program, projects and services for undegraduate/graduate. During the session, you will learn about campus resources specific to UC Berkeley Chicanx and Latinx students and other key Chicanx Latinx community spaces.
