Writing Effective Grant Proposals (Humanities & Social Sciences Communication Series)

February 9 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

This introductory workshop covers the basic principles of writing an engaging and effective academic grant proposal. The workshop will be led by Sabrina Soracco, Director of the Graduate Writing Center.

Open to UCB graduate students, postdocs, staff, and faculty in all disciplines.

(For disability-related accommodations, please contact gradpro@berkeley.edu prior to the event.)

This event is part of the Humanities and Social Sciences Communication Series, presented by Graduate Division’s Professional Development program, together with the Townsend Center.

This series will bring together panels of Berkeley faculty, graduate students, and staff who excel at engaging broad audiences on humanities and social sciences topics, across a variety of media. Each panel will be followed by a workshop highlighting a campus resource that students can use to hone their communication skills.

We hope that graduate students, faculty, and staff who work in the humanities and social sciences will join us for this exciting new series!
