Join Alder GSE’s Black Educators Initiative Coordinator and Talent & Admission Specialist DeWayne Ewing Jr. for a workshop on Understanding and Mitigating Stereotype Threat. This Stereotype Threat workshop focuses on: – developing a shared language and context for engaging in dialogue around race and ethnicity – creating space for reflection on the ways in which individuals have experienced, internalized or unintentionally perpetuated stereotype threat. – discussing how stereotype threat plays out in in work settings and strategize around ways to mitigate/disrupt stereotype threat.
