You have just been appointed to your first GSI position at UC Berkeley but now what? Come to the next Teaching Conference for First-Time GSIs to find out! The Teaching Conference is held at the beginning of each semester to orient graduate students to their GSI role and equip them to begin teaching. There will be workshops with experienced GSIs to guide how to lead your first day, practical strategies, and more. The event is split into groups with different times and locations. For international students there is an additional day for the conference that will occur on Thursday and both domestic and international GSI’s meet together on Friday. International GSI’s must attend both days.
